On Friday 18th of August, a number of students in Years Five and Six took part in the Sacrament of Confirmation. Confirmation completes Baptism, by which in the laying on of hands and the anointing with Chrism Oil, which first happened at Baptism, we are confirmed with the fullness of the Holy Spirit. We are reminded of our participation in the ministry and mission of Jesus, and strengthened to follow Jesus more closely.

Fr Tony Kerin from St Francis Xavier in Box Hill was the celebrant last Friday evening for the Sacrament of Confirmation. Some students from Year 5/6 at St Christopher’s and Holy Xavier schools took part, as well as some members of these two parishes.
