On the 11th of November at 11 am we held a Remembrance day Ceremony for all students outside in front of our ‘Lone Pine’ tree next to the basketball courts. Our Year 6 students ran this event and highlighted the importance of the day. The ceremony included an introduction and background information then the poem ‘In Flanders Fields’ was shared. The Ode of Remembrance was read and students listened in silence to the Last Post and the Rouse. The ceremony finished with the National Anthem. Thanks to Mr. De Leo and our Year Six students for organising this event.
