During the last week of Term 2, students in Years Prep, One and Two went to Ceres Environmental Park in Brunswick East. They took part in a number of activities that involved Aboriginal culture. This included a ‘bush tucker’ walk, learning about indigenous art and storytelling. This excursion was linked to their Inquiry unit which focussed on connections to places around Australia and the connections of local indigenous people to the land, sea and sky animals.
