It was wonderful to visit our Year 5/6 class while they were on camp at Sovereign Hill in Ballarat. During the camp they took part in many activities including a mine tour, gold pour display, gold panning, Aura 3D theatre show detailing the history of gold and much more.

The camp was linked to the students’ integrated History topic. The behaviour of the students was exceptional and the staff were very proud of them. School camps are also a terrific time for students to get to know their classmates and their teachers better and enjoy each other’s company outside the school environment.
