On Wednesday students in Years Prep -2 took part in an ‘Olden Days’ day at school. The aim of the day was to give students the opportunity to experience what it might have been like attending school in the early 1900s in Australia. They came to school dressed appropriately and took part in the following activities;

• salute flag
• marching
• reciting God Save the Queen
• learning about school rules – no speaking unless asked to speak, stand when an adult enters the room, no questions
• handwriting
• spelling
• Making aeroplanes (boys only)
• Needle work (girls only)

The day was enjoyed by all.
